How to get Started

First of all, as I have said before, you do not have to commit to full keto to see results. Even the slightest changes can impact your life. In this article, I will focus on the main factors. These are the reasons you lose weight on the keto diet.

How to Transform to Strict Keto

  1. NO SUGAR!
    • In my opinion, the biggest change is removing sugar from your diet.
      • Completely! I mean no more sugar in anything you consume.
  2. LESS THAN 30 CARBS PER DAY!
    • If you are anything like me, this number is a drastic change for your diet.
    • This number can also vary depending on your goals, and your health. (Remember to consult with your doctor when making any drastic changes to your diet.)
  3. FASTING
    • 12 hours a day, no carbs
      • Do not eat or drink anything containing carbohydrates at least 2 hours before going to bed. Then, wait 12 hours after that to eat again. And repeat.
  4. EXERCISE
    • You don’t need to run out and get a gym membership. Some of you may already be active in your every day life.
    • Go for walks. Watch less television. Just do things. 🙂
    • If you want to see results faster, or just tone it up as you go. I suggest adding some simple exercises to your routine.

This is a challenge for most of us. However, not only will you lose weight, but you will also feel so much better. You will FEEL healthier.

Another challenge, yes I know. It is possible though. The first week is the hardest. You will get to a point where it is easy to satisfy your hunger. After you get through the first week or two, I imagine you will also notice some changes. Physically and mentally.

I highly suggest downloading the keto carb manager app. It helped me tremendously with keeping track, and telling me which foods were safe to eat.

There are multiple ways to fast during your diet, and many people do it differently. For example, some people fast for a certain amount of time each day. While others, they will fast one whole day (24 hours) per week. Some people even do both. Either way, is healthy and productive.

We all have heard it our whole lives, about how important exercise is. I mean, and we all know deep down, it is true. The keto diet alone is quite the commitment. I have full confidence in our ability to commit to some exercise daily. Like I said, there’s no need to go to the gym. Simple exercises like walking, sit ups, crunches, push ups, anything to get that blood circulating.

Remember this is the key factors to transforming to strict keto. If you do not want to do full keto, you do not need to. I just know, from experience, it is the fastest way to see the results. With that being said, making slight changes is also beneficial. This is because you will most likely stick to it long term.
